Regarding this year’s MotoAmerica events, the 200, King of the Baggers, Super Hooligans, and Twins Cup there seemed to be a greater attendance this year, and of course this is Florida, so weather played a key role. World-famous Daytona Bike Week brings in hundreds of thousands of bikes and fans many of whom park their campers at Daytona International Speedway’s infield. From there they can attend events all over the area, and take a parade lap around the famous 3.51-mile Daytona Speedway.

The 82nd running of the Daytona 200 featured some stars of future races and several new teams and riders. One of the notable new teams is RahalDucatiMoto with 3 riders in their paddock, PJ Jacobsen, Corey Alexander, and Kayla Yaakov. The top team at Farrell Performance raced under the Get Fast Performance featuring husband and wife riders, Jessica Capizzi and Jason Farrell racing on Kawasaki’s ZX-6R. This year didn’t treat them as real as previous years, yet their presence at the paddock and on the track is quite contributory. Four female racers were competing across the 4 events and Isle of Mann TT Peter Hickmand of England tried his skills at Daytona for the first time. Thirteen (13) countries were represented in this year’s racing, demonstrating the international draw to this event who were among the sixty-seven (67) entries.
