OFFSHORE RACING UPDATE

The 35th Annual Sarasota Grand Prix wrapped up in a climactic way. The final race of the day, the ClassONE boats had Miss Geico #113 and Victory #3 battling lap by lap when, until the final lap, both racing boats flipped on the last turn as Miss Geico was catching Victory. No one was seriously injured yet the Miss Geico boat is out for several races.

Zabo Racing to the rescue. The Geico team has reported they will be using Zabo’s ClassONE boat as their own. Team Owner Jan Zaborowski of Pompano Beach has not entered his #91 in the last 3 races, only attempting a run in Cocoa Beach below, at Thunder On Cocoa Beach, the season’s kick-off event.
